When you submit an enquiry through our website, we collect your:

  • Name
  • Email address

How we use your data

We use the data we collect to:

  • Respond to enquiries you send us
  • Send marketing emails to subscribers who have opted in
  • Understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Who we share data with

We work with a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf. Each acts as a data processor under UK GDPR.

Brevo (email marketing)

When you subscribe to our marketing emails, your email address is passed to Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), which we use to manage our mailing list and send emails. Brevo stores and processes this data on our behalf as a data processor.

Cloudflare (hosting)

Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical data such as IP addresses and request logs as part of delivering the site to your browser.

Google (analytics)

We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console to understand how people find and use our website. These tools collect anonymised usage data such as pages visited, time on site and referral sources. Where cookie consent is required, analytics cookies are only set after you accept them.

Microsoft Clarity (session analytics)

We may introduce Microsoft Clarity in future to better understand how visitors interact with our pages (e.g. scroll depth, clicks). If added, it will only be activated with your cookie consent. This section will be updated before Clarity goes live.

Cookies

Our website uses a small number of cookies:

  • Essential cookies — required for the site to function (e.g. remembering your cookie preference). These are always active.
  • Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics to help us understand site usage. These are only placed if you accept them via our cookie banner.

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clearing your browser cookies and revisiting the site, which will re-display the cookie banner.

How long we keep your data

  • Enquiry form data — kept for up to 12 months after your enquiry, then deleted unless we enter into a working relationship.
  • Marketing subscriber data — kept for as long as you remain subscribed. Removed promptly once you unsubscribe.
  • Analytics data — retained in accordance with Google Analytics default retention settings (currently 14 months).

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Deletion — ask us to delete your data
  • Withdraw consent — unsubscribe from marketing at any time
  • Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Portability — request your data in a portable format
  • Complaint — lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@willowfordcreative.co.uk. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data, including using HTTPS across our website, working only with reputable service providers, and limiting access to personal data to those who need it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated "last updated" date. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected individuals.
